NWMSU Students Participate in 2019 Regional Women in Computing Conference
10 Dec 2019Northwest students participated in the fifth biennial regional women in computing conference, MINK WIC Friday and Saturday November 8-9, 2019 at the Hyatt Place Kansas City/Lenexa City Center in Lenexa, Kansas. The regional tech conference brings together students, instructors, and industry professionals from Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska, and Kansas for two days and three tracks of talks, workshops, and panels.
Northwest participants included:
- Nandini Doppalapudi - Lightning talk on "Spring MVC Framework" and T-Shirt distribution volunteer
- Havya Ravipati - Lightning talk on " Machine Learning"
- Lohitha Bhethalam - Lightning talk on "Using Spheros to Learn Computing"
- Sonam Gadekari - Lightning talk on "Spring MVC Framework"
- Harshitha Chetty Ragava - Poster presentation, Lightning talk, Graduate research on "A Systematic Prototype Selection with High Level of Usability: Analytical Process Hierarchy Process-Based Approach"
- Nikitha Lakmarapu - Registration volunteer
- Sharadruthi Beekuri - T-Shirt distribution volunteer
