The Consortium for Computing Sciences in Colleges - Central Plains region held their annual conference April 6 and 7 and sponsored their annual Student Poster Competition moderated by Associate Professor Rick Barker of Washburn University. Northwest Missouri State University undergraduate students Bradley Taylor and Daniel Favor from the School of Computer Science and Information Systems earned recognition and a cash prize for their first-place poster "A Look Into the Network and Penetration Testing Lab" under the direction of Dr. Scott Bell.
