Digital Forensics Team Successfully Addresses Challenge
28 Sep 2019The 44-386 Digital Forensics Team worked together to successfully address an incident on the morning of Friday, September 27, 2019. The team used creative problem-solving skills, language and web searches, file metadata, Bash scripting skills, digital forensics knowledge, and teamwork to determine necessary information and solve a vague and time-restricted challenge.
The outstanding team is working towards various degrees at Northwest Missouri State University and includes (from left to right): Course Assistant Karun Bourishetty, Connor Crossen, Cole Houston, Benjamin (Ben) Brown, Jack Hill, Guan Ming Chee, Brenden Thummel, Vincent (Vinny) Sorrentino, Hunter Walters, Nicholas (Nick) Allee, Ozzie Rodriguez, Michael Karr, Matthew Thomas, Zane Salam, Connor Quick, and Blake Newland.
